Testament of Youth: Synopsis
A powerful coming-of-age story which tackles love, war, hope, loss and remembrance. During World War I, Oxford University student Vera Brittain (Alicia Vikander) postpones her studies to serve as a nurse while her suitor, Roland Leighton (Kit Harrington) her brother and a secret admirer face death in the trenches. It's based on the WW1 memoir by Vera Brittain.
