Mark Doman is a BAFTA nominated, multidisciplinary artist with over 20 years experience in Film and Television production. His work incorporates video, photography, directing, editing and designing UI graphics, to produce individual scenes that contribute to the story-telling process.

Noted for his work on the award-winning spy drama, ‘Spooks’ [‘MI-5’ in the USA], where he completed 80 episodes over 9 series. In the context of the program, Mark was one of the first to develop the use of CCTV as a visual and narrative device. Directing, filming and designing all surveillance sequences he went on to create a visual motif that ran throughout the entire series.  

Collaborating closely with directors, production designers, and producers, Mark has developed a distinct method of working, and established a niche within the industry. His diverse skills and experience enable him to respond flexibly to the shifting requirements of production. He’s able to bring a unique perspective in developing story concepts and has an artistic eye for problem-solving. To date his work has been featured in over 30 productions including:The Capture S2’[2022], Slow Horses series 1 to 4, The Waste Land, The Capture S1’[2019], Criminal’ [2016], and Mi-5’ [Spooks-The Greater Good] 2015.

After gaining a BA in Photography he went on to develop an artistic career using video and photography as his medium.  His work has received several Arts Council awards and gallery commissions and has featured in numerous solo/group exhibitions, both in the UK and Europe.
